Apply for GRCA Membership today

Based in the UK but with international membership, The International Glassfibre Reinforced Concrete Association's aims are to promote the use of Glassfibre Reinforced Concrete or GRC, also known as Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete or GFRC, worldwide and to encourage best practice within the GRC industry. The Association is a prime source of information and independent advice and its publications, both technical and marketing, are highly regarded. Membership of the International GRCA is available in a selection of grades, which are detailed below:

GRCA Member (GRC Manufacturer)

The GRC Manufacturer grade of GRCA Membership is available to all companies worldwide who are manufacturing GRC to a minimum standard of the GRCA's Specification for GRC. Whilst membership is subject to pre-approval by the GRCA Council it should be noted that manufacturing plants are currently not inspected as part of the application process.  It is a requirement of the International GRCA that all GRC manufacturing applicants must complete and submit a GRCA Characteristic Value Spreadsheet containing their last 40 sets of MOR/LOP test results, and supply evidence of their use of alkaline resistant glass fibres in their GRC manufacture.

It is a current requirement of The International Glassfibre Reinforced Concrete Association (GRCA) that all GRC manufacturers join the Association in the GRC Manufacturer “Member” grade of membership, but the new GRC manufacturing GRCA Members must be fully assessed by a GRCA appointed external independent assessor in accordance with the GRCA Full Member Regulations requirements before 1st April 2022, and upgrade to GRCA Full Member.   From 1st April 2022 onwards, all GRC manufacturing applicants for GRCA membership will have to pass an assessment by an independent certifying body appointed by the International GRCA before being accepted into the GRCA.
