Located just a short walk from Tottenham Court Road station in London, UK, IIona Rose House is a new-build mixed-use building.

Located just a short walk from Tottenham Court Road station in London, UK, IIona Rose House is a new-build mixed-use building which is spread over 13 floors, including 4 below ground level. It is set to deliver new shops and restaurants, in addition to high-quality office space for the creative industries in central London.

Delivered for Façade subcontractor, GIG Fassaden GmbH, GRCA Full Member Glass Reinforced Concrete UK Ltd (GRC UK) were responsible for the manufacture of the stunning GRC cladding panels, which feature a rose at the heart of the design, and GRCA Member Smart Crosby International Ltd were the GRC Consulting Engineer.

The panel moulds for this project were produced using GRC UK's twin head 5 axis CNC machine, which has the ability to manufacture moulds four metres wide and up to eight metres in length. The GRC corner panels which formed the feature wall for IIona Rose were 4.5m x 4m in size.

GRC was chosen for its lightweight characteristic’s along with the textures that GRC would provide.
